Ftelia Beach

Ftelia Beach is one of the most famous beaches of Mykonos Island, especially for windsurfers and kite surfers. The protected beach of Ftelia is also well-known for the Neolithic settlement found there which is believed to be the tomb of the Iliad hero Ajax the Locrian. Ftelia Beach is usually a quiet beach, recommended for couples and families.


The cosmopolitan town of Mykonos or Chora is located just 4 km (10-minute drive distance) away from Terra Maltese Natural Retreat.

In Chora, taking a walk through the beautiful maze-like streets with the picturesque whitewashed houses, you can find famous restaurants and shops open until early in the morning. You will also find many bars where you can enjoy the lively nightlife of summer.

The lovely Alefkandra of Mykonos, also known as Little Venice it is home to many artists and one of the most photographed places in Europe. Enjoy cocktails during sunset time.

The windmills of Mykonos are among the most famous attractions on the island, and the most photographed spots on the island. They were built from the 16th century to the early 20th and they were used for grinding agricultural products. Enjoy the magnificent view to the sunset and the sea during sunset time.

Finally, there are many attractions for the culturally thirsty to see on and around Mykonos like the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos, the Aegean Maritime Museum, the Folklore Museum in Mykonos Town and Panagia Paraportiani Church at Kastro

Ano Mera

The only village on the island and the answer to the noisy town…

The picturesque village is inhabited since ancient times, is the second most important center of the island and distinguish for its Cycladic figure with the shadow of bougainvilleas and its warm hospitality.

In Ano Mera you can explore the Monastery of Panagia Tourliani with its great architecture, as well as the Castle.
Feel the relaxation and tranquility that Ano Mera offers and taste Greek cuisine and Mykonian recipes at the taverns around the main square
Near the village of Ano Mera you will find the famous beaches of Kalafatis, Elia, Kalo Livadi and Lia.


Take a tour at the isle of Delos and feel the energy.

Delos is a historical jewel of ancient Greece, located just opposite of Mykonos. This is an inscribed World Heritage Site by UNESCO, full of interesting buildings and art crafts. The most famous is the Terrace of the Lions, the temple Dionysos, the Minoan Fountain, and the squares, the Agora, the Temple of the Delians, dedicated to Apollo, the Temple of Hera and many more.

Regarding the myths, the God of Light, Apollo, and his sister, goddess Artemis, were born in the island of Delos. This is the main reason why the island was considered sacred for ancient Greeks and no one was supposed to be born, live or die on this island.
